what's so special about an exacta bet? i mean, you have to have exactly who wins anyway, right? it's not like they have a close-ecta.

why would a horse run at a track that's off? no one will be there if it's closed.

Why do they call it the stretch? I've never seen it get any bigger. It appears to stay the same size. They could just as easily call it the shrink.
