hey, tell me who said this quote;

here's a hint; he and our new governor have something in common.

Exclamation Wow!!!!

Absolutely great stuff................verifies the concept that how the 'figure' was generated is as (or more) important as the 'figure' itself.

Thanks guys.

I had a root canal yesterday. My dentist took a bunch of X-ray's and what he was saying made no sense until I saw pics.

The sharing of information and the discussion it generates in a thread like this helps players win and enjoy the game more which is one of the main tenets of DT. Relax man, I wasn't being sarcastic or hostile. I just wanted to have him followup with what point he was trying to make. He seemed to be going somewhere specifically with his posts when they abruptly stopped, leaving me wondering what he was trying to say.

As for your latter point, yeah, that's true, I did start a thread to ridicule someone. That's not something I normally get in the habit of doing and as you know quite well, I've also defended that person. It being April Fools day and all, I thought I'd make a wee joke. Unlike other posters on here, who never ridicule others!

I would love to know what kind of program you need to do this type of illustration?

Very nice information indeed.

Thanks...

Question also about program...how long did it take you to do this?

Maybe you could have a highlight race of the week and do the same thing explaining what happened?

Watcha think Drugs?

This is actually pretty simple and can be done without Photoshop, which you'd either have to spend 100's of dollars on or download with a crack.

1. Download and install IrfanView, a free graphics program.
2. Open the video file with IrfanView and play until you get to the point in the video you want to edit.
3. Stop the video (or pause) and do a screen capture.
4. Save the screen capture as a jpg file.
5. Using the paint tools, draw the box like Druggie did around the areas you'd like to highlight, using whatever colors you see fit.
6. Add text as needed.
7. Save file with new name.

You can do any one of these shots in two minutes or less, once you have everything installed and you know your way around the program.

It could all be done in the simple Paint program that comes pre-installed on most PCs, too. Basically the same process, really.

Yup. I thought about mentioning that, but IrfanView does a lot more for the average user than Paint does.

It is very expensive. You can do pretty much all the same stuff with the free program The Gimp.

That's all I used.

It doesn't take long at all. Just save the picture, draw a few lines or circles on it like the NFL commentators do, and save the updated pic.
