Points and ROI Totals through August 13, 2016

So we have change up top with JolyB jumps up 2 spots after nailing a SWEEP and a 2nd in Pts the following week and is now our new leader . Real Quiet continues to roll on but is now #2 on the board and Ruffian hangs TUFF in the 4 hole as well with strong showings the last two weeks. DonGuido gets energized and moves up 2 spots to take over the 5th rung on the ladder as Plenilune adds nice points to jump over Digger taking on the 8 hole. And NJ Stinks exercises his wagering prowess now leading the lower tier.

OK so I can't let this go but this is the 1st week in a loooooooooog time that the top 3 have been void of points . . . rare account for sure. Don't account Ruffian out anytime, especially when there's a feline in a race as she hangs tough in the 4 spot and DonGuido wakes up a bit as he nabs quality points to break the 200 mark holding on to the 5th rung of the ladder. Ryonker1 does a nice job hitting a 3rd in Pts and Digger jumps over Plen to take over the 8 hole landing a 3rd in ROI while NJ Stinks keeps leading on the lower tier chalking up yet another ROI tally.

On to the Spa again for the big Travers card. Can anyone say UPSETS will abound???

Not much change in position at the top but Ruffian keeps wracking up valuable points to climb nearer to the leaders as the Colorado filly that just keeps on going and going and going . . . Others hold solid positions. Lets see what happens at Kentucky Downs.

JolyB and Criminal Type continue to shine staying strong in their positions as DonGuido seems to be getting back in contest grove heading into the Breeders Cup capturing a good amount of points for the last 6 weeks in a row. Plenilune looks good gaining point and jumping up one rung of the ladder. Cruzan200246 and Digger handled the last two weekends well adding to their totals.

Off to PARX and that should prove to be interesting as Digger plays for a repeat. Thanks to everyone for playing.

Quick update with added bonus points for ROI wins for April - August, with twoi notable moves as Criminal Type jumps over RQ moving into the 2 spot and Cruzan 200246 does the same to Ryonk to move into the 7 hole alone.

Way far behind (4 weeks to be exact) for a number of reasons, so here is a quick update to bring us current and I will be finalizing the year end stats going into next week prior to our usual Breeders Cup week festivities and nail down those competing for the Gallivan Cup with odds for wagering of course . . .

Per your other post, (below) why isn't my BC Repeat Win / Bonus Pts
included in > Final Year End Standiongs?

My suggestion was for the coming year. I don't think a rule can be changed in the last week of the contest.

OK, ENOUGH!!! Does it really matter that much? I totaled the year end points and ROI results to include the Breeders Cup points. I'm sure JB will let me know if he feels slighted. After all I know there is a huge amount of money, ego, pride, bragging rights, etc., riding on all of this, correct?

Oh wait I have an idea: we can have a handicapping match race between Ruffin and JolyB and winner takes all . . . see how silly all this is.

I'm ready for the new handicapping year and on a personal note especially since I sucked so bad last year, I have little if any pride and ego left. Time to rebuild.
