Your off your rocker....Hockey gets lower ratings then some cartoons...

And as far as arguing with you, it is pointless because you are blinded by the BS auro that NOTRE DAME supposedly has.....

I will tell you this, SIU would have smoked Notre Dame this year, and probably the last three years in Basketball, and our NCAA Division 1AA team would have probably played you hard for 3 quarters because you guys sucked, and will continue to suck until they have players that have heart and stop thinking about the next level

Hoss, they have watched Rudy too many times, that is the issue

I love the movie, but I know about 20 people that I have what I consider Rudyitis and it involves their unrealistic thoughts about how good Notre Dame is because of a dude where the movie is based on, with alot true, and a couple major things reported incorrectly

This is a public forum so I thought I would join the fray. One of Notre Dame's problems is they haven't been playing with the BIG BOYS. Outside of the USC game at Notre Dame they have been pimp slapped by the BIG BOYS. They're popularity is their own worst enemy right now. ND is getting in bowl games they don't deserve to be in simply because they are ND. Only one major problem with that for ND, unfortunately their opponents have deserved to be there and have made that more than obvious while playing against ND. They desperatly need some wins with substance behind them which they haven't had of late.

College football is ridiculous, you hit it right on the head, they get into bowl games because they travel well

want to talk football scavs, I love ND basketball, but ND is a football school my man.

I just looked at SIUs bball schedule and results from this year, and can you please tell me one real team they played and beat, I would like to hear it. Losing to Bradley, Evansville, who is Evansville???? They did get a big win over Va Tech this year however. SIU was not a good team, and they had a cake road to the sweet 16. Holy Cross and Va Tech are WEAK, if they would have played a real team they would have been done.

Irish slow down buddy, I'm a big ND fan, but you are bordering on lunacy here. ND has not been solid in football or basketball in 10 years. This years ND basketball team was a joke. Winthrop please, SIU played one of the top 5 teams in the country on a neutral court and came up just short. Why are you talking about ND having heart when SIU won 2 more games then they did in the dance.

If you can't talk sports dahoss, go back to horse racing, it seems like the only thing you know. I've talked about all ND athletics yes, but I have placed it in the Sports Bar side and you come to read. Without people talking about their teams, what would this side be made of. I guess when ND loses (such as SIU) I should come on here and give my congratulations to the team so that I don't have to take sh1t for talking about them before the game, apparently that works.

your not an ND fan if you think this years ND bball team was a joke. They overachieved big time, they were picked to finish like 14th in the Big East, and finished 4th. They got a sh1tty draw and drew Winthrop, who was better than an 11 seed really. It was a tough loss, butno shame in it.

ND didn't get to play Holy Cross and Va Tech, put SIU in the spot where ND was and they would have got clown stomped by the athletic winthrop team. They had an easy draw, is that difficult to see. Again, Holy Cross and Va Tech.

ND has this years soon to be National Champions on the run, and played toe to toe and went shot for shot with them all game to fall short by 2 points. That was some serious heart right there by ND.

G'Town is this years Champions.

Please who cares what experts think will finish where. I thought there were a midpack big east team. They showed zero heart last year with all the sub 5 point losses. This team didn't overachieve that much, who exactly did they beat really. I dont see any top 10 teams in there.

Just be realistic.
I'm being realistic. SIU did play a good game tonight, I'm not doubting that. ND got upset in the 1st round, I'm obviously not doubting that. I'm saying, it's all about the draw, and when I saw ND was playing Winthrop I knew how dangerous they were. Now if I would have saw Holy Cross, I would have laughed as they moved on to the second round. You want to know why there are ND fans that argue as much as me, because of the millions and millions of ND haters like you!

C'mon Scavs, Notre Dame must have quite a bit of heart. I have some records to back me up on this one. I didn't take the time to look them up but I believe these are very close. Iraq 0-2 Japan 0-1 Great Britain 0-1 Germany 0-1 Notre Dame 310-7. Who in the history of the world has defeated the Army, Navy, and Air Force more than Notre Dame?

Those close loses had nothing to do with heart, the ball just didn't go there way the entire year.

ND has heart, and if you don't think so your crazy. I was at this years ND vs. Michigan State football game. ND was getting crushed, and everyone was soaked from the downpour of rain. Michigan State fans were leaving because of the weather and how much they were up. Well, when the game was over the stadium was still packed with screaming ND fans like myself. ND fans never lose hope, and the players never did either. That was a special game to be at, and is why I love ND so much.

GO IRISH!!!!

Irish the some was the ball, some was the team. Every time ND loses its not because the ball didn't bounce their way. They missed open shots, ft's etc. i watched that whole ND football game and was cheering the whole game, however michigan state sucks. When is the last time we actually beat a ranked team, Honestly, Michigan spanked ND, USC spanked ND. only so much you can defend.
