he shouldnt have won his last start ? based on what ? he did win his last and the horse he beat came back to win last week, so it was backed up, and i am assuming if he had a good start like magna graduate he would have won the race, yes i am assuming that

The start took away all win chance against a horse like Magna Graduate. It shouldn't have eliminated all chance against the rest of those horses. He should have been good enough to at least be in the picture to hit the board even with the start.

Corinthian is a much better horse than Magna Graduate with equal trips and when Corinthian's head is on straight (which happens about half the time). . .

When they showed the head on replay of the start, it clearly looked like the assistant starter still had a hold of Corinthian when the gate opened! This, in my opinion, is what caused him to jump. He could have been declared a non-starter. (and yes, I played him).

The horse he beat got an idiot ride which is why he lost.
