By the time the Belmont comes so many horses have fallen by the waistside and unknown factors all of a sudden show up,it'll be a long time before 1 trainer wins the Belmont 5 consecutive years.

Very Interesting. Thanks for the stats Chuck. I don't see any of those falling except for the 36 triples. That will be a very tough one but if everything goes perfect a guy like Reyes could MAYBE do it.

Since no one in major league history other than the Chief has ever been in the 30's and the highest total in the last 50 years is Carl Crawford getting 21 2 years ago I'd say it is pretty safe

I know it was supposed to basketball, football, and baseball, but I see we ventured away for some of this discussion.....Here' one.....any buddy remember a horse named Secretariat that ran the in The Belmont? I don't think that margin of victory will ever be duplicated. Amazing, even with a short field. Dimaggio's hitting streak? No one has even gotten close......
