KY pols get interested in racing usually around the time they request a bunch of Derby boxes (comp of course) that used to go to owners and fans.

That's a good point, and its why I like Brereton Jones angle on slots. If we're gonna have 'em, we gotta lock up the distribution with a constitutional amendment, or the hacks in the GA will be monkeying with it the next day.

As long as the great David Williams is on the casinos list of officially sponsored politicians, slots are a longshot in KY anyway.
