It sounds like Chuck has done a nice job as usual, and I wish the best of luck to all involved.

I agree, Good luck y'all. Why not call her DT Dream?

Luck would be a good thing in this case... One question how did you get a Came Home for 30% of his stallion fee? Did this own slip under the robes?

No stud fee paid I imagine as it was bred by the owners of Came Home. Remember that a lot of horses are bred by shareholders and on foal share agreements where no stud fee is paid and the horses have to be sold in most circumstances.

I doubt you are asking me, but towards the end of the sale pedigree pages are very weak compared to the sire's merits. These might have been "lesser" mares that were sent to try to make a more valuable baby than what the mare is worth. Usually this doesn't succeed. So, you can scoop up a smaller but very correct individual for much less than the fee.

Oh thx now I get it.. I Stallion like Came Home who has had an enormous amount of INDUSTRY behind him was bred to a less then ideal mare. The reason being is that the syndicate that owned him tossed a free breeeding session. OK so then they market the yearling in Book 69.. I am new around here thx again
