Had one when I was a kid that lived until he was 17. My beagle, Kasi that I have now is 14.

Had one for a very little time when I was a kid.Made some huge messes by tearing stuff up...LOL...He ran away.Never found him....Have to say, he was a lil out of control...LOL.

I thought he stood out as well. Amazing that that is the breed's first win considering their popularity through the 60's-70's. Seemed like everyone I grew up with had a poodle, spaniel or beagle.

i always root for the german shorthair pointers.
my cousin is a breeder. Monroe, in the middle of the page won the breed twice at westminister.

Was rooting for the Akita but neither he or the weim were "on" last night. Glad the beagle won. His conformation is fantastic, moves great, and was really "showing" last night. Westminster tends to be political but you couldn't deny the beagle last night.







Thank God one of those poodles didn't win!
