I think Victor has found the good footing in the middle of the stretch. Seems like you can save ground and then find a way to get out side after the have streightened out in the stretch and ROLL.

the hill just kills me, but I love the course...are there theories... does the downhill tend to enourage horses to overpace themselves, or does it actually give them a breather over the 1st 1/4?
