the electoral college was put in place so that smaller, less populated states would have as much say in the election as the larger states. i don't see that system going away any time soon.

You obviously dont know much about McCain if you believe that he is a Bush clone and McCains positions on the economy are not much different than Sir Hillary's. I am not commenting on McCain's abilities but he is not that similar to Bush except he is a white guy (which is a bad thing for many lefties)

i don't see how he can be compared to bush, or called a bush clone.

but i also don't see where hillary has all this 'experience' all of a sudden. from where? being first lady of arkansas? first lady of the u.s.? the one thing bill gave her to run with, health care, blew up in her face. her not even two terms as a ny senator? i'd say her time spent in public office is comparable to obamas. and it cracks me up to know that bill said obama is too young, too experienced--sounded almost like what was said about him when he ran!

When running for office truth is often a matter of opinion.

McCain n' Bush are both Republican white guys that performed poorly in college tests and/or military tests. Both were aided by influential fathers/grandfathers etc. That's about it.McCain is not nearly the a-hole
that GEEDUMBO is.The Conservatives don't have a candidate...F them.

Scuds.
I think ultimatley you are good fella.

But jeez you are right and then so totally wrong on so may levels
about a state you know very little about.

I am very long winded (naugghhh), so I will just take on
one section; the bolded one. Then if you want more, if you
really want to know more about how it works here...
I could continue. Although the rest of the board might
want to throw up as I have many fans.

The bolded section favors democrats big time. BIG TIME.
And you are right about it being unfair.

Scuds one other thing to think about.

Rush Limbothersome let Bill Clinton on his
show and basically let him talk without
any real sort of challenge... Why?

I might add Clinton has not lost a step.
He was very, very good.

Good man for bring all this up as it is
interesting. Clinton is still on the ropes
and about to go, and Texas Republicans
HELPED.

ok, I'll go along with that. I wouldn't want anyone to confuse him with any limited gubment, liberty minded conservatives.

I know that everyone says we have to dumb it down so the idiot swing voters will go along.

not too many people may know this but it appears that Obama has the same criminal connections that the gov. of il Rod Blogo has. I doubt it would happen but he may have to appear in court.

of the last 4 governors - only former gov. Jim Edgar has managed to stay out of jail.
btw
Jim Edgar is a horse enthusiast. The family are owners.

I'm not sure how you can say that since it has been in the papers the last 6 months and on TV the last week.

McCain was at a party with a murderer.
There were 1000 thousand other people at the party,
but McCain was present.
