Interesting.
In the past, whenever I am making a major life decision, I haven't gone into the esoteric room of a horse racing message board for advice.
Of course, most of my major life decisions aren't fictional ones that I concocted simply because I am delusional....so I guess that might be the reason.

If you want to be a vet, forget the PhD and just get the DVM. If you want to do research, then get a PhD later but even with a DVM you can probably do all the research you want.

I just wanted to see what others would do in my situation. Others that are older and more experienced in college matters than me. Of course, coming to a final decision requires a long, thoroughly thought-out process, talking to college advisors, and advice from close friends and family members. It is certainly not a decision based solely upon advice from a message board, although, I think I received some good advice and a little bit of information about other veterinary colleges that I didn't even know existed.

Thanks ya'll for those of you that helped.

the only accurate rankings are compiled every year by US news and world report, you can buy them on their website.

and nearly every year the top schools are co state and uc davis

One of my good friends was going to go to Colorado State, but she decided to go to NC State instead. NC State is ranked 4th in the country, which isn't bad. I don't want to go all the way out west either, so I don't blame her for sticking close to the family and paying the in-state tuition.

whatever...you asked a question.... albeit a rather stupid one for anyone who knows how to google "vet school rankings"....and I gave you an answer.
since this is about the 50th career announcement you have made since joining the site you'll have to forgive me if I just don't give a sh*t.

At the end of the day I really don't give a crap at how prestigious a college is or isn't. Are you good at what you do? Can you get the job done right?
When I'm interviewing teachers I could care less about Phi-beta whatever or being board certified. Can you do the job?? So KRIM can you do the job?
You are not a high schooler, so this Tar heel forever stuff is a waste of words. Do what makes the most sense and what makes you feel more comfortable. That's my two cents.

your delusions of grandeur weren't far enough along to merit the discussion.

though I would always opt for porn. keeping in mind of course that as a male, you get paid a lot more for gay porn.
