Sorry for your loss, HHH. My dad passed away almost 4 years ago and I still think of him everyday. He was ill for almost 9 months, too. But, we are never completely prepared to say goodbye. Take care.

Mark.. Very sorry about the passing of your pops. Just read your Amsterdam Recorder tribute to him and it's a terrific memorial to his life and memory.

HHH, adding my condolances and have to say how very lucky you were to have a father you were that close to. This rides not forever for any of us. Knowing what is important and having a dad like that is something you can be very glad in your heart that you will always have inside.

A heartfelt thank you to all

Thanks guys for all the well wishes and support you have given myself and the family at the time of dad's death. It is great to know that there are people out there who are caring and wonderful as you. I told dad about the nice people on this site and how we're all one big family. It will be tough when the Derby rolls around and when Saratoga starts this year, but I will know he'll be watching from up there and looking for a place to bet! Thanks again.

Mark Hoffman and family
