LOL, yeah he's finished. I hope the betting public feels the same way so I can make some $$$ on Derby day by getting him at great odds.

Let me guess you think Monba has a shot in the Derby because he just won on the polycrap?

It is pretty tough to take any of these polytrack races seriously. How is it "fair" racing when the rail is so bad every horse has to move 8 wide ASAP? Even still, those furthest inside have little chance. The place is a joke. The funny thing is they promote this Trakus, like being wide matters on that course!

Yeah so has Pyro, who's also been little more consistent and explosive the last time I checked.

good luck if he's your derby horse and you're unfazed by todays result. last time I checked derby winners don't finish 10th by 12 lengths in their final prep.

Last time I checked, Derby winners don't run on a surface completely foreign to anything else they have ever set foot on in the previous prep. I'd have liked to see him show a little more interest, but I doubt it mattered. He wasn't well meant today.

1) Who won last year's Toyoda Blue Grass Stakes?

2) Where did winner finish three weeks later?

Pyro didn't run a lick on plastic dirt. Ho hum... Seems that some horses thrive on various versions of synthetic and others just backup. Then, you get some that move from syn-to-dirt and explode and others backup.

Very chaotic element for handicappers. Proven performance on a particular surface appears paramount to repeat success. However, it does not consistantly predict NEXT PERFORMANCE on ANY SURFACE.

Do I sound confused? Yes, I am... Add 20 horse field and complete chaos may prevail.

This is not a typical year by any means.

guys we will see all i am saying is, i am more intrested in horse's like cowboy cal, monba, court vision and colonel john. then possible favorites like war pass, big brown, pyro.... is there a problem liking horses with good connections that will also offer value ? it seems like everyone rips my opinion but why ? should i just love big brown who will be a horrible favorite, imo. i am sticking to my guns, no changes.... my top 4, in order are......

cowboy cal
court vision
colonel john
monbA

Top 4, as in contenders? With the exception of Colonel John, that is a very original list to say the least. Would love to see what that super would pay.

Colonel John will be half the price of War Pass.

If you singled off of someone else's advice from a message board who you don't know then you deserve to lose. How'd you do in the other legs?

you know... i would have had red hot bullet
ran second third and fourth in the turf race
and then been dq's in the 5th
my only hit today was cowboy cal, i went 75 wps on him, and that did noeven get me close to even.

Tough luck. . . I had 3/4 in the late PK4 but never would've had the winner of the last.
