Double carryover.

Looking forward to getting to work on the six, although it looks tough at first glance.

Considering the prices, I don't think it's amazing. Or did you mean going into the day, it didn't look like it'd carry?

I don't know about today, but last time BTW did the show, he mentioned that Sweet Madness' last race looked better because the runner up might've moved too soon.

Well, I don't think that Lost Without You moved too soon last out but she was widest, chasing a horse that held for 3rd, and got last moved by a horse that got a better tip.

I bash Hill quite a bit but this was a very nice ride today. He got her from the 10 hole to the rail by early turn and sucked along until he came out entering, and drew off. He doesn't win if he stays outside like last time.

We just disagree about wides. While she did lose some ground last time she was compromised by a severely overaggressive ride last time.

She got a brilliant ride today.

Did you catch the performances by Kent in the 7th and 8th? They were Hall of Fame of Ineptitude rides. He shouldn't be riding. He is totally screwed up over Big Brown.

Me, being a moron keyed the 1 and the 6 on top of the 1-2-6.
It came in 6-2-1. Nice work Andy!

It came in 6-1a-2. I actually did well.

Thanks.

I don't think the ride was overaggressive. When Hill bid, he was in hand, and he actually backed up almost 2 lengths between the 1st and 2nd call while the pacesetter drew off. However, the horse, no doubt, got the worst of it. What kept me from betting was her terrible action after she got the lead. If I could've counted on Hill getting the rail by the turn and drafting, I'd have bet out. And I'd certainly have bet my house that she'd run faster than the colts in the 8th, and run her last 1/8th a few hundreths faster than the previous one. In other words, she ran just a little bit better than last time.

I didn't think much of Equally. As it was, I had my own issues in the 7th with Gomez, essentially emulating Kent and never getting clear; and with Maragh in the 8th --- if he gets clear earlier he probably wins.

Gomez didn't distinguish himself in the 7th either.....you're right. I need to watch the 8th a few more times.

We will have to agree to disagree about Lost Without You's last ride. Bottom line is that while he was obviously a good play at the price he got as good a ride as a horse can get.

i was thinking the same thing today. suddenly he's looking around and back under his arms on every ride, ala Big Brown.

Agree.

As for Equally. I was interested in her last out at KEE but didn't play because of the price. What soured me on her was the fact that she ran 43 feet LESS than the winner (the 3rd horse ran 64 feet less), per Trakus.

P.S. How does CLement ride Castellano back after what he did to Les Antiques last out?
