If Gomez was even remotely a jock, the 12 runs the plug down. What a terrible ride in the lane.

What sucks, and this nothing personal with anyone, is that singling the 9 was just a poor play. And I'm sure many did so. YET, they cash because some trainer is too inept to use a jock on a horse that's ready to win. Game is funny that way.

Then again, Joe Aquilino takes Hill off and puts a 'jock', Coa, up on Dilightful Storm yesterday; and look how much good that did him.

Looked from the head-on like he had to go wide at that point. . . Tough beat - at least you had the right horse. . .
