Love the "Bastard" too. I have been their....never eaten, but they have every beer you can think of.

You can get the "Bastard" at the live Del Mar Track - a service area at the top of the stretch - where "there is never a line at the $ 8 a beer line"

Blue Moon - A nice Belgian Beer.

http://www.bluemoonbrewingcompany.com/

Had it at Saratoga last summer, They toss an orange slice in it - very refreshing on a hot Saratoga afternoon.

Very nice choice, I drink Blue Moon in the Winter time but in the summer it's time for Oberon which is brewed in Kalamazoo Michigan and is only a summer beer. Like Blue Moon, Oberon is garnished with a Orange slice.

That's what I usually get "on tap" @ Piggy Pat's Bar-B-Q in Washington Mills, just south of Utica.

It was the first beer I ever drank in the fall of 1980 and yes, still is my favorite brew although Fosters "on tap" is the best draft. Really not too picky when it comes to beer expect the only "lite" beer I'll drink is Coors. Lite beer is like drinking decaf coffee, why bother.

Thanks for the advice, I'm sure you have only my best interests at heart, but I think I'll ignore it.

Morty,

His name is _ed_ so I think there are some missing letters. His name may be Jedi, so be careful.

When I lived in Ireland.. the Irish would say Light beer is what you drink when you are quitting.
