She's a Romney fan from way back...just bitter, and somebody gave her a unusual forum!

Glad to have you back so soon.

I missed your stupidity.

Now dang it Morton.
Did this lady back Romney before McCain?
Because McCain is clearly NOT close to as
conservative as Republicans usually go.

He is all they have.

There could be an
agenda that explains why this woman would
write a bizarre piece... I have now seen the TRUE
Palin? How did she all of the sudden stumble upon
this? I dont buy the explaination.

He is the only guy that can distance himself
sufficiently from the disaster that has been GW.

you could ask 1000 conservatives if they know who Kathleen Parker is, nobody would know her. but beside that, its no secret that conservatives have mixed feelings about Palin.

What happened to the Palin avatar?????? LOL

What did you think about the Palin interview with Couric? I have asked other conservatives on here about that and no one has given me a straight answer. How would you rate her performance?

i'm not a conservative but here's what i think:

once you chose her, it was a huge mistake to keep her away from reporters so long. she has lost all confidence in herself. she was pretty good in her initial introduction where she did answer questions.

shelving her 30 days just raised questions and put more pressure on her. whatever she was going to be she would have been last month. but without the added burden that she'd been in a glass case for a month.

she's not as dumb as she comes across. she's probably a good governor for 460,000 people in alaska. but no one looking at her the last few days feels anything but pity. that's not something you want to feel about a potential leader.

getting picked was probably the worst thing for her. the credit crunch was probably the best. it kept that interview from leading the news.

dalakhani I watched it. She isn't polished like all these other career politicians no question...and maybe after what we have recently there could be some good in that. No question that she doesn't have expereince like most - but I think we have now seen experience or not ... you still get a random outcome.

Two points I would make-

-#2 makes very little difference in the vote. I don't think she is viewed any worse then "Potatoe" was. The last poll I saw had her more favorable than Biden (albeit I think it was a Fox poll). I think she is a non-issue. Indpen's will vote for the top guys not the bottom pair. It is only you and I (the general you & I) that think it matters in the vote-it doesn't.

-There are some great Grade 1 Races today at Belmont and Santa Anita - F all this crap - time to enjoy the real meaning of life.
