Another wild Cup! And here, for no particular reason other than the obvious.. Luca Cumani's daughter Francesca!

just read that Viewed won that race on 3 days rest!! From the DRF...

"Viewed had just raced on Saturday, finishing last of 11 in a 1 1/4-mile race that produced three runners who came back in the Cup just three days later. Although Viewed, 5, had won 7 of 23 starts, he had not finished better than seventh in his last four races."

WOW!

Can't believe Bauer couldnt get up in time but congrats to Cummings - always keeps a fair bit up his sleeve..

Very odd to see Coolmore do what they did. They should have controlled that race, but instead, they finished 4th last, 2nd last and last!!

Bring a horse down there that loves fast ground!!!

Yeah same here, I looked at the Cummings horses yesterday as possible bets keeping in mind of Trainers that know how to get a horse ready for the Cup and with that in mind I couldn't even make a case for this horse. Nothing in his preparation would have suggested a confident win bet, the only real reason to bet him would have been the Cummings angle.
