I guess a Super Bowl win doesn't buy you as much as it once did.

This is hilarious. Kiffin leaves them for UT when they are 9-3. They collapse and lost their last four. Apparently all blame goes towards Gruden. So what are they doing now? Hiring the guy that replaced Kiffin!!!!! F...ing morons. Now that douche is going to wind up with the Jets, only good news is it might mean Favre comes back for one more year to ruin them.

Who says Chuckie didn't force them to fire him.......the Bucs are toast next year after that collapse. By firing him owner does him a favor for the SB he gave him. We will see how broken up he is by all of this....

Firing the douche was two seasons too late.

Winning the Super Bowl with Dungy's team bought him way too many years.

The real key to the deal was kicking Bruce Allen out the door with him. He's easily one of the worse GM's in the league.

I'm willing to sacrifice the next couple years to get both of them out of here. It is an easy trade off.

Glazer said in the paper this morning in not so many words that letting McKay get away was a mistake and that Allen was nothing more than Gruden's mouthpiece and that the next administration will have a defined separation between the roles of the head coach and GM.

As for Gruden, the strong rumor is that the Jets have absolutely no interest in him, that if the Ravens lose they are going after Rex Ryan.

Gruden is rumored to be going to Notre Dame after they buy out Weis' contract.

I guess some people feel that since you win a Super Bowl (in his case two) that you are somewhat bulletproof. But the guy had a long sucessful stint in Denver and I am sure he will end up somewhere in the near future.
Agreed.
Sometimes things just get stale.
Shanahan is a good coach.

And in all fairness Denver was lucky to even be in the running
for that division. They had to be one of the most injured teams
in the NFL. This seems to be fairly common for Denver. Maybe
Shanahan needs to find a Pilates instructor.

Jerry Jones said there would be no coaching changes.
So the Defensive coordinator has been fired in Dallas.
And Jason Garrett looks like he may have laid down
a me or TO goes ultimatum to Jerry. Meanwhile Wade
Phillips gets tossed about like he is not even present.
Great fun... total chaos.
