Woke up at the end of the fourth set. Nadal is playing flawlessly.

Only a Fed miracle now will save him.

This was the sloppiest I've ever seen Federer in a final. He just doesn't have it like he used to. He can still be brilliant, but he's no longer consistently great. Rafa is king.

Federer's serve killed him. He's usually money when he's down and needs one. Like Pants said, Nadal got in his head big time.

That too. Choking on his serve, and his backhand.

All Nadal needs is 5 more years of good health and a U.S. Open and he'll go down as the greatest of all time.

I dont think there is any doubt who
has the mental edge now.
I cant think of a guy that I have seen
who has such an iron will and ability to
shake off a bad play.

This type of mental attitude is very rare.

Good health will be his problem.
His shoulder, arm will get a beating
the way he swings, even though he
has cut down on the excess motion.

His trainer needs to be the best.

I play tennis...a lot, and you don't know how true this is. Tennis is part chess, part boxing, and part marathon. The mental side is unbelievable.

The mental side...guy can't hold in his emotions and has to steal Nadal's moment by acting like a woman. Nadal apologized for winning and put his arm around Federer.
