Adding My Pal Charlie to the Pick 4. Don't have him in the Pick 5.

$72 Pick 4 now.

Magna 5

Leg A – Laurel race 9

1, 5, 6, 8

Not overly confident going 4 deep, but look for #6 Funny Book to run a big race.

Leg B – Santa Anita 4th

4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10

In a race difficult to gauge I’m tossing two logical horses Cantankerous Clyde (barn is ice cold) and Great Legacy
(Pedigree doesn’t exactly scream 5/12 furlongs, despite eye catching workouts). Interested to see Rosario land on Machowsky first-timer Dixie Passion, and think long-shot New York Baby could be ready at first asking.

Leg C – Gulfstream 9th

3, 6, 10

Most of the major players drew unfavorable outside posts, but 4 scratches this morning make it less problematic. Assuming Jet Propulsion and the Dutrow horse assure a more than honest pace.

Leg D – Golden Gate 4th

10

Plenty of speed here, and looking for Russell Baze to give Saipan a perfect stalking trip and mow them down late. Just missed the photo finish in last race with the exact same conditions.

Leg E – Santa Anita 5th

6

Insane to single a horse that’s 1 for 12, but there’s not a horse in the race that’s in even remotely good form (other than Raise Again who just beat a weak field to break his maiden). Banking on the big class drop, solid connections, good workout pattern and history running against much, much tougher than these.

1,5,6,8
4,5,6,8,9,10
3,6,10
10
6

$72 for $1

At Fairgrounds, I think Secret Getaway is a viable alternative to the two big faves here in the 6th. I don't think we know where his ceiling is yet. 8-1 overlay(?) is good enough for me

Is the timing wrong on the turf course at Fair Grounds or is the course just complete garbage? I mean really. That's horrendous.

It used to last until March before turning completely to sand. Guess there wasn't enough rain this season. Seriously, do they never water the course down there or what? It's the same thing every year. Horses get more dirt kicked in their face on turf at FG than on dirt.

Churchill just sucks ass. That's all there is to it.

Indygo Mountain is getting pounded like Jenna Jameson. Pass.

Edit: Glad I did. That horse is gutless.

Nice job on the Santa Anita late pk4 Steve, Pat and split it and helped recoup some losses from what was otherwise not a banner day for me.
