The coaching staff that UT has assembled is second to none in College FB. Its a who's who list of top recuiters. They will have a top 3 signing gay class the next few years. In part because LK can sell them on the thin depth charts where as UF and Alabama are fully stocked.

They'll have some gay classes alright.

I guess I need to proofread.
They will be gay, as in partying in the streets out of excitement.

2 years away from what? How many weeks were they in the top 3 in the polls? They held their own with the Nat'l Champs in the SEC Championship game.

they have to replace 4 OL, starting QB, 1000 yd RB. not enough depth in the OL and not showing up to play, helped get them embarrassed in the sugar bowl. the LBs next season will be Fr and Sophs. the DBs are small. 7-4 at best next year.

i think kiffin is in WAY over his head in the SEC. he is swimming with the sharks now. not the pansies of the PAC-10.
Do you still think he is in way over his head? I think he is doing a pretty darn good job with this team. I'm sure Phil Fulmer wouldn't be doing any better. He's not winning many games, but he's played Florida and Alabama way closer than anybody thought he would.

Granted he is doing this with Fulmer's recruits. It remains to be seen if he can recruit, but I think he is silencing his critics a bit, so far.

i think fulmer would/could be doing better. just two years ago, the vols were playing in the sec championship game vs lsu. fulmer was a heck of a recruit-no telling how many guys they lost when phil got the boot.
as for tenn holding bama to a close one, that imo had more to do with bama having an atrocious day then the vols having a good one. but bama still managed a win...

yes, he's staying close with daddy calling the defense, although he did call a pretty good offensive game.

Before the season, I thought it was going to be a train wreck and I think it is anything but that so far. Daddy is part of the package, we knew what he could do all along.

Just thought I'd give him a bit of credit considering the amount of grief he got. He's still and arrogant ass.

that team had talent, the great pumpkin had lost them. the kids are playing ball for him, especially his father. the staff's as good as any in the conference and yes young kiffin is an arrogant ass.

RMFT!

I have gray hair and a slight case of arthritis...but they won and that's all that matters. Never mind the questionable play calling by the OC, McElroy didn't turn the ball over and Cody absolutely won the ball game for a dead tired team.

It was the best football game I've ever attended because I got to see Vols fans crying. It made me believe for a short second that there is an invisible man in the sky that hates Tennessee as much as I do.

Ole Miss fan first, SEC fan second... feel sorry for fans of nowhere conferences such as Big Ten (usually Big Two -- now mostly big nothing), Big 12 (Big Texas this year), Big East (L'east), ACC (basketball?), Pac 10 (Pac Lite), Mountain West (Mtn Worst), WAC (can't top conference that calls itself WAC), who did I forget to disparage, oh, Gold Domers...

And glad I helped you in your quest for 13,000 posts by suppertime... tonight!
