The match with Murray was an indicator Roddick
is/was playing much smarter tennis. He is actually
staying in points instead of his give away slugs.

Good match.

Probably best Nadal was injured.
The court this year was much more
of a big hitters court than last year.

Ball stayed much lower this year and
skidded quickly compared to last year's
bounce surface.

Definitely a difference. Probably due to
the heat. I dont think they cut the
courts any differently.

It was a great day in tennis. But they have to stop with the corny Tiger/Roger relationship. That only such greatness can relate to each other. Gimmee a break with the showing of Tiger taking a break from his practice swings to text Roger. As if Roger is going to check his cell phone for text messages...what are we 15 years old? I like both guys very much but this is out of hand. And when it comes to Tiger, nobody cares that he wins unless they are majors.

Roger played great, so did Andy. It was good to see. Roger got very lucky this Wimbledon and a little luck never hurts...

-Nadal didnt play at all and has obviously had Fed's number.
-Instead of playing Djokovich in the semis, he instead got Haas (who beat Djokovich in the quarters). Fed has struggled immensely against Djokovich.
-Instead of playing Murray in the final, he instead got Roddick, who he owns a 19-2 advantage over in head to heads. Fed has a poor record against Murray in head to Heads, losing the last 4 meetings.
-He got to serve first in the final set, and at Wimbledon, can not be decided in a tie breaker. Huge advantage.
