No real excuses. Seemed to handle the ground fine according to Graham. Said she was a bit rank early but settled and made a brief run but flattened out. Not sure she isnt better sprinting. The trouble is that 5 furlongs is probably a little short. Maybe try her sprinting on the dirt? Hoosier maybe. Good purses, bad horses.

A little rowdy in the paddock as well. Lead change didn't happen until deep in the stretch and she didn't seem to be reaching out with confidence during her stride. Still a super fun day at a beautiful facility. The dude is a perfect name for Joe, and Michelle's a Hoot.

Thanks Benny - it was great spending the day with you, Joe and then seeing Roger (pdrift) and his friend for the race . Hope my directions worked well for you - thought it was a little crazy - the girl from Boston giving directions in Chicago, go figure.

Mark - (HHH) not sure if your friends knew where to meet us, but we always meet in/at the paddock just before the race. Too bad they didn't meet up with us, the more the merrier.

I took lots of pictures and will upload them later. I got some pictures of GBBob's Cool Clue in the first race, too.

Another fun DT day.
