Ted Kennedy got caught cheating in college and killed a girl. Joe Biden is an admitted plaigarist. We are forced to listen to them because you guys keep voting for them...

Forget it...you guys should take notice of why Ted Kennedy was so revered by both sides. He was solid to his liberal base but knew how to be a moderate when needed. That's a huge problem for you haters...if you never want to meet even 25% of the way, you'll just be forgotten

Ted Kennedy was as partisan as any politician. He was great at being a politician. We arent haters, we are concerned citizens who worry about the path this country is headed down. As critical as you want to be about Bush, the war, Gitmo etc, the fact is that those policies are easily reversed, the tax cuts expire, the wars end. But this administration is doing things that CANT be reversed or changed even if they prove to be a disaster to the entire country. This isnt about some terrorist in a distant prison. It is about the American way of life and our system of capitalism. Saying that we dont want to meet in the middle is totally wrong and myopic. The middle isnt being offered. It wasnt offered in the stimlus debate and it isnt being offered now.

I thought it was Robert Bork actually, and I wish he hadn't reached across the aisle so much. No reason to have to lower yourself to neo-cons except if you wanted to get a bill passed...must have been humiliating.

No more humilating than his death bed move of trying to get around the law Dems so vigorously pursued when Romney was Gov.

Hypocrite to the end.

The middle is as how you define it..it's all relative to what you believe. To me the middle is far left of where it is now, to you, the middle is fiscally right of Bush and socially left of him, although I really think you guys are more fiscally concerned than anything. It's just fascinating to watch and read the bile over a defecit and a President who advances an agenda you think is wrong. You throw around the words "morons" and "idiots" like it's gospel wihout ever thinking that maybe there was/is a good reason we believe in and voted for Obama. What are you more concerned about?...Just trying to be right or actually doing good for this country?

Where did I throw around the words morons or idiots?

The healthcare thing is a debacle. There really wasnt a plan and it was being rushed through on a political miscalculation by Obama and company. This is perhaps the biggest piece of legislature than will ever be passed since it not only consumes so much of the economy but because it will tangibly touch every person in the country. Healthcare reform is NOT a bad thing. Doing it the Obama/Pelosi way is. If ever there was a bill that needed give and take it is this one. But the issues are always clouded by the special interests and this one has its fingerprints all over it. Tort reform is badly needed but to do that Obama has to step on one of his strongest supporters, so it wont happen. That starts the dirty cycle since every other player suddenly needs to be bought off (AMA, AARP, Hospital org, unions, etc) and the water is muddied again. All of a sudden you are where we are now. The GOP doesnt want to let this through but if Obama had reached accross and stepped on someones toes and called the GOP bluff, health care would have a chance. But the compromise that leads to a huge govt program simply wont get done in this environment. Govt agencies are a mess in general. Red tape, paperwork, political appointees, internal controls, unions, etc. make people like me who have dealt with ridiclously inefficient govt agencies real nervous. The out of control spending, the lame funding plans, the rush to get done, the political crap from Pelosi, these are not ideas that appeal to people in the middle.

Who gets Riot .

Sarah Palin is a moronic idiot. The Senate took out that provision before they went on recess. That was the beginning of August. The Senate is still in recess. This happened before Caribou Barbie posted that Obamas Death Panel was going to determine if her Down Baby would live, depending upon his contribution to society.Did I mention Sarah Palin is a moronic idiot?

Did I mention Sarah Palin is a moronic idiot?Your focus on personal insults are nothing more than the foot-stomping temper tantrum of last resort by the person with no arguments.

Oh - and read the real articles she cherry picks incomplete and taken-out-of context quotes from.
Dear Riot: you should look into buying an auto-responder, since it's the same pablum you spill each time! You have approx 5 steps before you've completely jumped the cliff for Zero. Hope you have better reults than the coyote
