You would think by now that people would LOAD UP on PD in the place and show pools, yet they continue to still throw $$$ at him in the win pool. How he went off at even money to me at Arlington a few weeks ago still boggles my mind. Hard to knock the old fella for still running and the connections are lucky to have a horse that keeps making them money in big races. PD always runs his game, that you can count on, but the only problem is that his game is 2nd or 3rd place.
won the washington park last year

As far as you commenting on me being blind about him not winning another G1 before he retires, I'm afraid that you are mistaken, because no where did I ever say that he wouldn't. I said that his game (especially of late) has been coming in 2nd or 3rd and if YOU can't see that from looking at his PP's, I am afraid you are the blind one.

I was just curious as to what everyone thought about his last race. I figure to get a wide variety of answers. He did look like a different horse in his last, where he stumbled. I am just curious if he is beatable at a short price.
This is exactly why I love this horse, he probably wasn't at his best for this race, yet in spite of it he still won, on pure guts, no folding from this boy ever, he is a trier no matter what the situation.

i understand that you didnt make that comment straight out that he wouldnt win. but(that his his game of late has been 2nd and 3rds? this is why i pointed out the foster in my thread, pp's or not when you watched that race and the margin of loss, that could be considered just as good as a win, or a win, when its that close your splitting hairs. we were that close in the foster to not even having this discussion. that race alone is different then the plethora of other races hes taken 2nd in by noses heads, half lengths or lengths in grade 1 competition. kev your a good guy , i'm not trying to argue just sticking up for drifty

No worries my friend....I do hope I didn't offend. I do respect PD...he continues to hit the board in very big races, time after time. I can understand you taking up for PD because Lord knows I would do the same with English Channel.

Good. I didn't want to have to hurt you. You leave my drifty alone.
