i don't think john dasilva would take kindly to you calling his outfit a rag , the people at the post work as hard as the people at the other ny papers

i agree they do sensationalize their headline stories , to sell papers , but you had to turn a lot of pages to find the NYRA story yesterday and i am willing to bet you that a lot of their readers don't even look at that part of the paper

again if you disagree with that article feel free to write a letter to the editor

the post is more than fair to publish resposnes to their articles in the letters to the editor section (i have seen it before on bigger issues) ....you seem to know a lot about the issue and where the fault lies, why don't you write a letter to the editor poninting out the other side of the story so the post readers can get both views on the matter at hand

no, you are right their sports coverage is pretty good. but i'm still standing by what i said. the state should be "audited" for its inability to get this deal done. they answer to no one....its just insane after 8 years of bickering or fake bickering to get this done,,,it does not smell right, when everyone else got vlt's. something gives and people want answers

I do agree Johnny . We want answers why this racino has been held up for 9 long years . Attacking the NYRA only leads to further suspicion and questions about what the hold up is .

I agree that NYRA has had to weather a terrible storm BUT the state did bail them out, and while they have finally gotten their act together and are doing a great job, that hasn't always been the case over the last 9 years. Once they open the books what else could anyone object to..The situation would be totally disarmed forever.. I support NYRA and there current agenda but what does what didnt happen in Albany 2002 have to do with full disclosure? Is there harm in transparency from an organization designed to be a conduit of tax money for the state and racing promoter?
