Little Who trivia here..The song..Baba O'Riley, was named by Pete for two different people. One was the leader of a religion he was involved with at the time named Baba something or other. The O'Riley was for Terry O'Riley, who composed the synthesizer portion of the song.

i liked the Who, they did a good job. i just not a fan of the extended halftime crap. as far that goes, i'm not a fan of the 4 hr. pre-game crap. just show me the freaking game! and do a good job. all the freaking commercials. the game has no rhythm to it.

It is certainly a long day, but that is what horse racing is for. Santa Anita ended right before kickoff and we were putting 2$ in each and everyone was getting a horse. It was quite fun.....

I'm certainly not a Who fan, but I thought they were alright last night. But as far as I'm concerned halftime takes to damn long. It felt like halftime to forever last night. They give you like 8 hours of pre game crap, why not give people a concert for one of those hours. I would watch that as opposed to watching the Who try to cram all their hits into a 15-20 minute session. As far as halftime goes, bring out the dogs catching frisbees or something. But just get the damn 2nd half started as quickly as possible.

Agree- I thought the Who did a good job.

I'm making Journey the early favorite for next year's Super Bowl halftime show. 5/1 contracts open for trading.

I thought Tom Petty was the best halftime show in the last decade or so. Both Petty (and the Heartbreakers) have been around forever, but compared to the Who and the Stones, they're in their prime, and they sounded great when they did it.
