I was thinking about posting the latest update about Nopie but you all beat me to it! I have enlisted The Second Race's help in finding a really good "forever home" for Nopie. His life at GEVA was boring him and he really needs to to be somewhere where he'll get lots of attention and play. He's just not ready to retire to a paddock yet. He's a very curious horse who like attention from people and he'll do anything for human approval.
Sharla Sanders, who runs The Second Race, is a friend of mine and I trust that she'll make sure he finds the perfect place. He is completely healed from his injuries, although he'll never be a jumper because of the damage that was done to his suspensory. Unfortunately, I live in a condo and work way too much otherwise I'd keep him forever. If anyone knows someone that can provide a great home for a very playful gelding, please let Sharla know. I will pay to ship him anywhere that a good home is, and any "adoption fee" that is paid to The Second Race will be matched by a donation from me. Nopie has been through a lot but he has always stayed happy and playful. I know if you met him you'd fall in love... I did :-)

Nopie's adoption fell through due to the ban on shipping horses due to the equine herpes virus outbreak. He's still available to anyone with a great home! And he's herpes free
