Race 2:

I think Talamo might be able to steal this one on the 1.

I'm looking at her like I'm looking at the 3. The both had races where they were either on or near the lead with ridiculously slow fractions and still couldn't win. The horse I'm having trouble with is the 5.

Her synth wins are at 6 & 7f. She looks to me like she is just runs midpack going two turns and has no punch in the stretch.

1 for 43 Rudeboy, 'nuff said.

8K openers....This is like Tampa with half the field... 6 has a 5lb weight break coming in off a nice effort on a big class drop - not singling, but at 14-1 def using with the 1 and 2... No reason she can't get home, it's not like any of them are world beaters

At some point you might want to consider the following: both of these horses are coming out of races which, as you correctly pointed out, appear to have had slow paces. If that was the case then why was Daniella Roth (2 races back) the only horse of the top 6 in the race early to not back up (the 8th and 7th horses early ran 1-2)? Something similar in the case of Dona Mary. Not saying I'm crazy about DR but this was her best race, probably ever, and she is 10:1.

By no means do I think it's impossible for her to win. But I'm just thinking that there might be a little more pressure up front this race with the 3 & 6 going near the front and Talamo on the 4 being close to the pace as well. Also I wouldn't be shocked if Rosario sent the 1 from the rail to the lead. I just don't see easy fractions for those horse who couldn't close the deal with pace scenarios that seemed softer to what they might be tonight. That's why I was considering the 5 thinking she just might pick up the pieces late.
