![]() This is a guy that has been on Waivers for how many years now? I don't disagree that it's an awful move, but it's move made because of desperation.
As opposed to signing Rios off the waiver wire last year, personally I thought that was a strong move.

![]() I don't know why they wouldn't take a shot with him. They get very little production out of the DH spot and Manny even in decline has far more to offer than the current choices.

![]() Dodgers are 5 back, and the Chisox are 3.5 games back of a team that never quits (before the playoffs.) I'm not sure Manny will o.k. it. Isn't it a 1 shot deal? They can't just keep dangling him on waivers. If the Chisox claim him, and he turns it down, then it's not easy to try it again.
