One definition of Bigot is: A person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, esp on religion, politics, or race. When they asked the so called Times Square "Attempted Bomber" about taking his United States of America Citizen Oath, He said " I didn't mean it". So, Riot, keep believing everything you are told about Islam by the Govt. run politically correct mainstream media.

I thought this was rather interesting. I listen to NPR every morning, or at least I have, and have always found her to be bland, uninformative, and factually incorrect. Turns out she's also a giant a-hole.

If you listen to the comments in the context of the conversation its painfully obvious that he isnt condemning anyone. He was simply expressing the fear he personally felt. You are projecting on his words. Expressing his own honestly felt feelings is candor.

You want the world to be so black and white, politically correct that you can't see the difference between a guy expressing his own personal fears and a blanket condemnation. The fact is that everyone of us knows that if a suspect looking person wearing muslim clothing gets on a plane with us, the thought crosses our minds. You may not admit it but you know it is true. Doesn't make you a bigot or racist or anything of the sort. It simply makes you human.

And I am quoting the public comments from NPR on Williams contract, not some "general rule".

I don't know what Williams motives were but I have a hard time believing after reading the background that NPR wouldn't have released him from his contract had he asked to leave.

The public comments are referring to a general rule.
