Afraid of the Rachel is better period argument, that then leads to insults from the same 3-5 people.

So afraid of another opinion. Maybe the pretty horsey boards would be better for those afraid.

I've been home sick the past two days and had TVG on in the background (yes, with the sound up but, in my defense, it's the only TV channel that's not playing Meg Whitman political ads and I wanted some noise in the house ) and what Vic says is true, he did say that Z could get beat.

Of course, he was crossing his fingers at the time

speaking of fingers, anyone catch The comment Tom Amoss made about Zenyatta crossing the finish line with her middle finger extended towards the turf writers? I think he took the "support Zenyatta" memo at TVG a bit too seriously

A, which is lesser quality than B, beats C in a race. As a result, C's connections FAIL to HONOR their COMMITMENT for the AB, which is won by B (EASILY). C is then retired later in the year, before the BC. It follows that C is MUCH BETTER than B. Hey, it's not like just any horse can lose to the great Persistently.

ha ha ha

All the MOFO's making this 'argument' seriously need to consider getting BACK on their MEDS.

I am not afraid to say, I am only using 2 horses in the classic: Haynesfield and Zenyatta. Now, I am afraid to be aligned with you in this race, any football or basketball game, or any other thing for that matter.

You must have great respect for our American based turf horses.

Unfortunately the Zentards can't handle that there's no longer a relevant horse to endlessly denigrate in order to validate and prop up their paper champion.

From a monetary point of view, the reality is Jess deprived a few sharp handicappers around the world a chance of betting against Rachel in the distaff. She would have been a vast underlay and players look for chances to bet overhyped horses like this every year.

Yeah, you're a sharp handicapper. I'm surprised you can even spell Distaff. You do realize Zenyatta at 8-5 is the underlay of the millenium, right? Those sharpies will still have their opportunity. Unless they were just Zenyattards, in which case they'll line up in droves to get fleeced on Saturday.

Only true if B beats A. Theory requires this to make it stand. This is the scientific method. Opinions have no place in this theory.

She would lose to Blind Luck, just like every other horse in that race. Best female in the country that Blind Luck.

Yeah, was Battaglia high on crack cocaine when he made Z 8/5?

Would like nothing more than to see her roll here … but 8/5 is ridiculous for a 6yo mare in this race.
