The stats are really ridiculous. Especially that he is basing it after going 4 deep in every race. That's $80 a race he's technically investing, how about some sort of ROI number, that would be a little more pertinent then taking credit for a %90 win rate when going 4 deep in every race.

Maybe I could buy it for Turfway with all the big field and cheap races that seems very hard to hit (I personally hate the place). But he has the same format for Santa Anita. He is 4 deep in every race. The opener only had a five horse field. If that doesn't speak volumes, I'm not sure what will.

That's my point. The stats are a joke. I think it's great that people want to cap races and share their picks. But be realistic about returns/win%. Realistically you could put up the top 4 betting choices each race and claim a crazy win%.

The person who posted on here is all bent that I called him out. Well.......if you are gonna post someone's picks/website, have it at least be somewhat realistic.

There was a guy (maybe it's the same guy from that site) who posted here for about a week. All he was posting was pick 4 tickets going from what I remember 4 deep in every leg. I think his tag had something with pick 4 in it, but he was only here for about a week because he couldn't understand why people were giving him grief for posting $256 pick 4 tickets everday. I also think he was trying to promote his site/blog.

As far as the guy we are talking about, I'm not sure how any horse player could really take him seriously. It's almost like he's throwing crap at a wall and see what sticks. He just has an insane format.

That was Thunderin' Dan tha Pony Man from Racin' Aces...pretty sure... but he had opinions (thoroughly thought out - just extremely poor and pathetically executed opinions)

I don't know anyone who would try to pick 4 winners at Turfway each race and brag about it... That's hilarious... Might as well give Batagillia the mike ...oh wai.....

THUD!!!

No I remember Thunder Dan and it was definitely not him. I wonder if Byk or whomever gave him the golden dart remembers the guys name. I have searched for some old posts/plays but I think that they were all vaporized.

I like Turfway. I pay close attention to breeding and how fit the horses look on the track.

Avoid Turfway, focus on Tampa. Avoid the chalk on top(unless odds on), and you will be ok.

4. - 8. Taurus The Bull, 1.=Mano Point, 4th 3.Googlez De Cerveza, 1st 11.Carr Pool

Hit a $2 Win bet{Money}92.40

Anyone who does this is a joke IMO. You should have clear 1-2-3 everyrace with a most likely winner. Everyone does it that way though and it's just the easy way out.

at tb i try to play the jocks and trainers that seem to gear up for that meet each year, at tp I only look at the races they ran at tp, I throw out all their other races, this may help a "little"

My suggestions for both tracks are as follows:

Turfway---look for subtle class drops by reading and understanding the conditions of the individual races. It seems as though they have a multitude of $5K claiming races but there are slight differences in each. But you also must have the ability (bankroll) to spread. As mentioned in another post, proven Turfway form is also a sign.

Tampa---nothing tricky here, just good old fashioned homework should point you in the right direction. Centeno seems to have potential in every race. Love playing this track. Great options both on turf and dirt.
