You'd think that after having run a bunch of these Showvivors, Santa Anita would have the software down pat. But the "Top 100 Handipappers" shows 100 people who seem to have correctly picked the 2nd place horse in race 7 yesterday. It also says these "Top 100" were actually "eliminated" in that race.

Go figure.

Also.... Right after the last race Saturday it said the contest was down to 1851. Then Sunday when I checked and made my pick it was over 2k.

they made, then fixed a mistake that originally ko'd 800+ people that shouldn't have been (my sister included).

Im using the #7 Jax El in Race #1. I had a hard time coming up with anything.

Going with #6 Gaelic Glory in the 2nd. He was good to me last out so hopefully he'll be good again.

Forgot to pick before hitting the road, so had to pick via a non-capping friend over the phone based solely on ML odds and # of horses in the race. Achak in the 3rd.

Now, looking at PP's, that race looks wide open. Might've gone with Ranchero, along with 1111 other players, if I'd looked more closely.
