One look at his career numbers and ranks all-time among receivers and it's impossible to say he squandered his talent. No sane person would leave him out of the top five receivers in the history of the game. Most would probably list him top three. If that's squandered talent, everyone should try to waste their abilities as well.

I can understand not caring for him personally or not respecting his work ethic. But there can be no questioning his production.

Before he ever took an NFL snap - Moss was a personal hero of mine.

His 4-TD 200+ yard performance in the 1-AA National Championship game as a Freshman was like the greatest thing I'd ever seen - I watched it on ESPN as a wanna-be high school reciever.

This interview and feature that SI did on Moss before his Sophomore season of college had started was one of my favorite pieces ever written.

He is my Muhammed Ali.

Keep pushing the statistics and overlooking the intangibles. It's why you're a clueless f.ucktard.

He had all the intangibles, Coach.

His work ethic and effort was second to none.

A good buddy of mine played for Delaware and got to miss him (badly) twice on the same play, he was described as a super human.

We're going to disagree on this one. It's understandable because he's your guy and all...

but intangibles in sports tend to fall on the mental side of things and he was severely lacking in leadership and maturity.

Owens was a roid guy who would turn on his own teammates.

Moss had one of the most natural builds in football and was loved by virtually every teammate he ever had.

Much like Owens in that he played when he felt like playing...and when he didn't, then he didn't.

Owens is/was a grinder. I don't think anyone ever accused him of that. He even played his ass off for the sorry ass Bengals last year when they'd be down 20 points.

Owens was a pure juicer and a lame fucl<ing idiot. He's the only guy capable of making that fag Garcia and McScabb look like sympathetic figures. And than he goes and cries and weeps for Tony Romo.

You then know a different Owens than I recall.

He was a bitch. Refused to play for Baltimore. Blamed everyone else everytime his team lost. If he wasn't playing well he'd have sideline meltdowns.

Behaved like a typical unfiltered jackass with a case of roid rage.

That's what I mean...that's the rough parallel to Moss' mindset.
