This is awfully kind of everyone and as I said to Seth on "Loose on the Lead" this morning, I'm delighted to be part of the process. Eclipse voting inclusion comes by virtue of being a member of the National Turf Writers & Broadcasters Association. The Association only opened up to Broadcasters this year, so joining and being endorsed by 2 members gets you in and an Eclipse vote. I'd love to say I was honored to be added to the voting roles by a selection of peers, but that's really not the case...

From a daily radio listener and DerbyTrail reader and very infrequent poster to the forums is is great to see that your knowledge is recognized in the industry. I look forward to following your career and I'm confident that we all can profit from your insight of this incredible game. One final note, If I'm correct in assuming the photo on your posts now includes your wife, its obvious that you have stepped way up in class. Best of luck in the new year and beyond. Since tomorrow officially starts the Derby Trail for 2012, I will check in often for the best information on the 2012 Triple Crown.
