I am afraid to take the obvious in fear of the chalk running 4th. As of now I am going with American Blend in the 5th, but I am sure I will be more awake tomorrow and ask myself wtf was I thinking?! |

I had Crossing the Line in that awful 3rd race... Did they made the entire day null and void or only that race? Anyone know? I love Bench Glory but since she doesn't have a jockey (she has Blanc Always a bad omen. ) I will go with one I just like and not over think this... M One who could be 2nd or 3rd (won't win but I don't care, love him to death). Good luck everyone! |

Even though the 8 most popular picks came in, another few hundred people got knocked out. It's down to 1683 players from the original 6571. Those of us still in have almost $4 of equity each! (Equity = Prize money/# of players) We've built that up from the original 75c (5000/6571)
Looks like Lofty Ambition for me in tomorrow's 3rd. --Dunbar

He was 3rd... good enough. Hope you all live to fight another day (I've missed every race prior so hope you all are still in).
Sorry. I shall probably be joining you on the next racing day (Thursday?)... Last edited by my miss storm cat : 03-04-2012 at 06:16 PM. |

Twin Six was yesterday's pick, not a good one as it turned out.

With RHT out, it looks like the contest will end in a tie between Arletta, mmsc, and me, so it's not too early to start looking at the tie breaker rules. ;>)
In the event that multiple contestants are still alive on Saturday, April 14, then beginning with that date a tie-breaker will be put in place and will be in effect until the contest ends or the meet ends on Sunday, April 22. The tie breaker will be the highest show price payoff prior to April 14. The second tie-breaker will be the highest show price payoff after April 14. If a single Showvivor player wins the contest before April 22, then the tie-breaker condition will not be in effect. This condition will only take place should there be more than 1 contestant still alive after the races on April 22 or if the final contestants are eliminated on the same day. At least there'll be something for all 3 of us: $3,000 Grand Prize $1,500 Second Place $500 Third Place I won't be crushed to come in 3rd to you two. --Dunbar
