Default Romney concludes disastrous foreign tour

Seven day tour, and Romney only answered three questions from the press during the entire time.

Today (yesterday Polish time), the end of the failed Romney World Disaster Tour occurred as the press shouted questions to Romney as he left Poland's Tomb of the Unknowns, and Romney's press aid screamed back at reporters "Kiss My Ass!" and "Shove it!"

And there you have it. The 2012 Republican GOP Presidential candidate.

Oh .. today Harry Reid reveals Romney paid no taxes for 10 years.

This candidate is done.

yes.

because it's not about going oversea's and insulting an ally if he's right.

please keep posting. every human error made proves your candidate was right and not just irretreviably lost in the world of diplomacy. you'll probably save his candidacy.

yes. that's pretty much how diplomacy works.

weird, huh?

it's hard to explain but people generally don't like their friends coming over and pissing in the punchbowl when they're about to throw a party.

it's not really a tough concept. it's kind of diplomacy 101. and arguing about whether the criticism was justified just extends the injury. so...from your lips to romney's ears. with any luck his campaign will stop running away from this and embrace it with your enthusiasm.

OMG i just read that twisted quote of yours from the village idiot and he paid no taxes for ten years?

I'll wager anything you can name a year and Romney paid more taxes than Obama. In fact I'll wager Mitt has paid more in property/corporate tax alone than Obama paid total in any year you want.

would that be in raw dollars or percentage?

and here's this, if you care to peruse it:

http://www.thesoapboxers.com/taxes-paid-rich/

and it's a good question at the bottom....larger taxes on all money, or keep progressive taxes where the rate increases in proportion to disposable income? i'd say most would prefer the latter.

oh, and the poor, poor rich people...paying lower taxes now than any time in the last 80 years. cry me a river. maybe some day i could have that problem to deal with, being in a higher tax bracket. oh, the humanity.

The Daily Mail, conservative London Newspaper, continues to attack Mittens today - by making him an advice columnist:

% means nothing, all measurements of this nature should always be in dollars. If I paid 50K last year and you paid 35K, I paid more, the % SHOULD be irrelevant to that discussion. The progressive tax rate is the right system but it needs some serious tweaking before it can work right.
The highest tax bracket is not that big of a number in a two income home near a major city.

i disagree. when you compare tax payments, if i pay a higher percentage of my income than you, than i paid more in taxes in relation to income.
if someone makes 10 times more than me, that doensn't correlate to ten times more in taxes.
dollar wise, romney may have paid more. but in relation to income, who paid more? obama surely makes nowhere near what romney makes per year.
if he made 80% less, than 'fair' would dictate 80% less in taxes. is that the case? that's what i'm asking, because i don't know. but it doubt it. but since dell asserts it's a fact, i'd like to see the numbers.

an article on romney's tax plan. note the percentages, and who would benefit.

The scale slides very rapidly when dealing with large incomes.
We are only using income taxes as the primary factor in the equation and that is a problem. If you make 200K a year, it is likely that the person making 10x that number is paying 10x the taxes (in $) when you factor in all tax paid vs. just income tax.

I do not really agree with Rombo's plan either. Certainly know Obamas plans won't work (proof is in the history 2008-2012 and 1976-1980). Don't care much for Congress, can't say I really like the Senate at all. Supreme Court is kind of a joke too.

yeah, i don't like this one. don't like him saying he wants the banking regulations they recently added to be removed either. rich paying less than ever, and he wants to cut it more. also don't like him saying he wants to grow the DofD. it's already huge. we need to step back, rethink our deployments. need a real retrenchment in that area-but it won't happen.
saw yesterday that ceo's are 4-1 in favor of romney-that ought to tell you something too.
house dems voted to keep the bush/obama tax cuts on everyone except the top level. house reps want it continued for everyone. i'd rather they let them expire than keep them all. guess we will see.
