When it comes down to it, every country's healthcare success rate is 0.0. Just prolonging the inevitable.

apparently the low deductible plans that you can pick from (but not him) are considered cadillac plans, which apparently is great for the insured and terrible for the company.

i guess my company decided the tax for cadillac plans outweighs offering their employers the best insurance plans. which considering we have thousands of employees.. it makes sense.

thanks again, obamacare.
"Obamacare" meaning the exchanges that you and your employer will choose from, are not yet active. So blaming them for your company screwing you on health care choices is rather silly.

my husband likes the idea of low, low deductibles. i'm the opposite-especially considering that we never (knock on wood) come close to hitting a deductible limit in a calendar year. so why pay a high premium for a low, low deductible?
so, i suggested the highest ded. plan. you should have seen his face. lol i showed him the math, but he doesn't look at total numbers like i do. he says 'if i pay for ins,i shouldn't have to pay a high ded. too).
so we split the difference, and went with the middle deductible. save me about $150/160 a month.

i used to do the middle plan also... its a good one.

now i pay $25 a paycheck for a 2500 deductable.

thankfully, i havent been in the hospital since 2006, but i have some health issues that can put my there (ulcerative colitis.. it sucks).

so hopefully things will stay like they have been recently health wise (personally) in the future.
