Great that Able Friend's connections made the trip! Hope that more HK Raiders continue to descend upon racing in other parts of the world.
Missed the pre-race but he was terribly sweaty leaving the stalls. Washed away my money with him...

Missed it as well and sorry about your cash. Happy I stayed away from wagering this am as I would have completely sucked and had it all wrong.

Hey Otis.. good luck!
Thanks, MMSC!

Eoghan O'Neill and his assistant trainer, 13yo son Luke, will escort Spanish Romance on the train over to Royal Ascot Wednesday night. I am very excited for them, as I am sure this will be an amazing experience - win or lose.

Meanwhile, I am looking into booking some space at a pub somewhere in Toronto, so that my hockey team can watch the race with me.

No top hats, but maybe I will insist on a fresh T-shirt.

Just hoping she comes through the pressure cooker in good shape. Quite simply, it is an honor to race there.

Paddy Power has her at 7-1 and third choice. So I guess maybe she has a shot at black type. We shall see! Would be AWESOME for Eoghan and Luke.

Cheers,

Otis

Here is my article on Telescope running in the Hardwicke on Saturday.

He will certainly be the favorite, and deserves the role.
