How about that. Eccentric won and paid 18.20
Ball Four ran second for a 157.40 exacta.
Good Reward ran third for a 590.00 trifecta.
That damn AP Arrow came up and put his head in front of Host or else I would have given u the superfecta.

Default Simply unbelievable!

With due respect to those that swore off the Keeneland meet and have squawked endlessly about the evils of Polytrack and its' confounding properties, you can sculk away now after watching a horseplayer WORK...

Matt Dugger, a serious "send it in" wagerer, showed what can be done with ANY surface or situation if you truly 'play horses'. By consistantly identifying the runners that stood to go well at Keeneland for days in a row, "Hooves" demonstrated what one does when the opportunity to score huge presents itself: he capitalized. And Derby Trailers did as well courtesy of his largess...

Those that say the Polytrack makes it impossible to handicap simply don't care to do the required work that provides the edge when uncertain circumstances arise. By sticking it out for three weeks and gaining an understanding of the nuances in form that made horses winners at Keeneland that looked like losers to others, Matt confirms that there ABSOLUTELY is sustained success to be had at the tracks employing artificial surfaces.

This summer, I watched Hooves play 'his way' at Saratoga, generally the most challenging meet in the country, and come away with profits in excess of $10,000 for the six weeks. Did he conquer Keeneland by the third day? No. Did he throw his hands up and claim that capping the KEE main was a waste of time and that results were random? No. He stuck with it, and the experience will pay dividends on an ongoing basis, and hopefully paid dividends for Derby Trailers who were willing to take his advice.

I'm totally proud of Matt and his contributions to the DT Selections, and hope those that utilized his cultivated opinion let him know how they did. Helping other players profit is a great feeling, and I know that he particularly enjoys sharing his scores asdemonstrated this week. Now all we have to do is teach him to type, spell and write complete sentences...
