He isn't used to running against full fields period! LMAO

IMO, the full field will be Bernie's downfall (if there is one.)

I know.. I still think he's gonna win, I'm just saying I'd be slightly more confident if GW was on the other side of the track.

Joey, you would rather be next to G.W. than next to Brother D.,right? I remember B.D. knockin' Your Tent or Mine around really hard coming out of the gate at the start of the HWD Futurity.Haven't seen that horse since. Then again,I guess Brother could cause a chain rxn. deal.

I know what you should be concerned with.G.W. HAS NO SPEED,and you do.That means the horse to your right will soon be the 5 horse (Lawyer Ron-P.Val.) Now,I guarantee you that one will ride your horse just as much as Javy will.

Thats exactly why he'll shoot outta the gate to hook Lava Man early... GW is not going to be a factor early on !!

I have no confidence that a Coolmore horse is going to let a Darley horse (especially a monster Darley horse) get off to a clean break. None. This worries me considerably.
I think the only chance George Washington has is to knock Bernardini down, but let's be realistic here, who was the last European horse to NOT break 15 lengths behind the field in the Breeders Cup?

I will say Bernardini looks absolutely gorgeous and on the muscle on the Bloodhorse page, he looks like he's ready to rumble. I say he wins on Saturday rather comfortably, although I sure won't be disappointed if Lava Man or Brother Derek were to upset, I always cheer for the hometeam.

I'll chime in on this one for my two pennies worth.
Of course there's plenty of talent.
That said, in my humble opinion, it comes down to a "jockey race".
The horses have the "stuff" but it takes a rider with smarts to find it.
We'll see.
I haven't made up my mind yet on my bets, but I'm not looking at peds in this one. Some are capable genetics-wise.
The savy of the jocks will "tell the tale".
Should be interesting....look for "value" and riders that know how to "bring out the best...and a little bit more."

I wouldn't be scared of George Washington's post, I would be scared if he likes the dirt. If he does, Bernardini might be in trouble.

Nothing to worry about. Dini will fly out of the gate, while GW will walk out of the gate.
