Saw the rail bias and played Thor's Echo to place and Round pond to win.

Tanked on T.H. Approval and my pick 3s all day.

Came home with alittle money to the good and played with other peoples money. Can't wait till next year.

sounds like a good capped day by you. I need to learn to use the place bet a bit more often, that would help elimate alot of my losses, especially on days like these. I picked up on the rail bias but didnt think Thor could run that great again, that screwed me. p3s put me down for most of the day as well, but the Ouija Board one was a decent payout.

I have been running second for the last 6 weeks and it gets old not cashing a ticket. I played Thors Echo last time out at Oaktree. The stretch at Oaktree was like running in quick sand for most of the meet and he close ground to Bordonado. Give him the rail and he's been training on Cushion track (which seems to get a horse alittle tighter than training on dirt) It was easy to play.

huge win bet on Quija Board, and 200 to win on Miesques A, along with a 2 dollar tri.

I ended up doing well for the day because of those hits, but I lost heavily on Circular Quay, Bernie, and Scorpion. And none of my pk3s 4s hit

Nice call on Miesques Approval, I didn't like him at all. Did you play him over all in the tri?

Up. But I blew my win in the Sprint with Thors Echo. That was my reach. Thought I really had something with Spun Sugar. Boy I was so wrong. But I set up one little wager and one big wager on longshots and hit the little one.

I hate being so dead wrong on the one I thought I had something. Thought this might be the year I punched it really big... For me anyway. (Head down kicks dirt)

Hit the nice pick 3 early and unloaded on Ouija Board, but the Turf cost me a fine Pick 3 with Round Pond and Invasor on the outside.

I hit the Dreaming of Anna/Street Sense/Ouija Board Pick three for $3, and wouldn't you believe I still had to go to the ATM twice.

I totally agree, I loved seeing SS at those odds, made her a part of a ton of p3s,exactas,tris and a big win bet. oh well, at least we took a shot at it.

Default How Did I Do Today

This actually was one of my better days if I was a betting man. Only got to watch the Classic due to work 2 intil 2 and going to the ER after work with the wife, but here are my results:

1 Winner Ouija Board

4 Places

1 Show

2 Out of the Money

Not the greatest, but not the worst either.

Lost about $300, only got the exacta in the Juv Fillies and the Classic. Had Thor's Echo over Bordonaro in the exacta but unfortunately Bordonaro tired at the end. I had Invasor/Bernardini/ in the top two spots of the tri and super with Giacomo and three other horses under them but unfortunately not Premium Tap who is a horse I like a lot. Other than that I didn't even have any near misses.

Default a lot on my losers and a little on my winners

In the past I had done better on the turf than the dirt
this year I hit either the win or exacta on every race on the dirt.
Got the trifecta on the Juv Colts. Gee, all you had to do was box the Keeneland horses. I was nervous about my pick when everyone under the sun had Street Sense as their pick.

the silliest thing I did was bet Bother Derek simply because EVERY BC dirt race to that point had been won by the #1

at the end of the day I was up but could only wonder why I didn' bet a Superfecta here and a exacta there.

I'm just a $2 bettor and $900+ is a good day for me

Played pick 3's for all BC races ... the only race missed was Miesque's Approval, so that killed 3 of the Pick 3's (had to put all of my bets in before the first post because it was so crowded at Churchill)... that horse was one of my last throwouts and it cost me a ton .... still made some $$$ on the day but it could have been a huge one. Thanks to Mr. Byk for his analysis. Was at Churchill for the day and it was just an awesome experience !!!

Bet a grand total of $16.00 (tri with Ouija, FM and... Wait a While, pbbbt...), and then some $2.00 wins, but I picked Round Pond, so I actually came out ahead. A whole $13.00 profit. I'll have to be careful not to spend it all in one place.

Still, better than I've done all year! Oy...
