It did bother me that Trevor missed Street Sense. But I think u need to keep in mind that this was his first time on the national stage like this. Durkin was at it for over 20 years. How was his first BC compared to when he was a BC vet? I would imagine it's got to be pretty hard to go from calling 4-5 horse races like they normally have in CA to calling 14 horses in these races. Overall, I thought Trevor was fine and he'll only be better next year.

Trevor has been working on the sidelines for many breeders cups so being on natinal tv shouldn't of been a problem.Remember until this year these races were on regular tv so nobody had to have cable or satellite to view them.I think in a case like this besides needing a good announcers you also need an ENTERTAINER which Durkin is a ham at as well as a guy like Vic Stauffer.You know someone who has a little SCHTICK also.
