Oh and the worst gift was a cold/stomach virus from my brother's mob of kids.

Hee hee. You guys are funny!

I did get new half chaps. LOVE THEM!

I need to get that leash Pais! Buffy would love it!

I, however, did not get my horse in the backyard.

I was just happy to be safe at home... we had a lot of tornadoes down here on Christmas day and many people lost their homes.

I am probably the last person on the planet to get one, but I also got an iPod. It's really cool... I need to get a transponder for it so that I can put it in my car.

The best gift I got for Xmas was the enjoyment of spoiling my 14 year old and getting my wife a new cell phone, that she wasnt expecting.

We had some miserable wind here that morning, too. I live about 1/2 mile from the gulf and it got scary for a bit. I felt terrible for those people who's homes were damaged. Glad to see that you made out ok.

We were ok, but east of my mom's place was hit pretty hard with an F2 tornado. It was just surprising that we had weather like that on Christmas. I'm glad you guys were ok, too.

Glad to see that you both are OK. It is scary that we had that kind of weather on Christmas.

Yeah, we were told all week the keys were going to get pounded on Christmas Eve and Christmas day but it didnt actually hit us until around 4pm Christmas day. But when it hit, it was horrible.

Lightning was striking trees and poles and my mom's house is literally where the Gulf and Atlantic meet and the ocean was red from the sky and looked to be on fire... it was awe inspiring but scary at the same time. Being away for so long, I forgot how volatile the storms can be down here.

Opening day at Santa Anita with my Daughter and a bunch of our friends that never go to the track. They managed to hammer 4 winners and everybody left with more money than they came with, except for Teddy. He never stopped eating for the whole 9 races and that's where his winnings went. Excellent Day.
