Another great site for videos, especially death and dismemberment videos, is http://www.liveleak.com. This site used to be Ogrish.com which always had the most graphic and disturbing videos I've ever seen. They showed the complete beheading of an American - very not cool
They have the video from an Arab TV station showing Saddam after he was hanged (although he's not still in the noose).

Scav, I would say "enjoy!" but that's just too creepy

Cajun,
When I first saw the title of this thread, "Saddam Hung", I expected that it would be a "tell all" from one of his previous mistresses. Hanged would be a better term.
Yes, "sickos" get some joy from this. Heck, I never liked the guy myself.
That said, there's more to come.

Now, let's put the real war criminals on trial.
Who cares what their mistresses claim?

So you are defending a person that made kids watch autopsy's on their parents and hung people becuase they didn't 'agree' with him?

Fact is that he got off easy with the hanging. They should have ripped the jerkoff one limb at a time

(Not that I'm feeling sorry for him, mind you.)

i think about 2,000,000 iraqis and iranians died while saddam was in power, so there's still a ways to go.

and with all due respect, if you don't understand anything in this world anymore, you never understood it in the first place, because nothing has changed.

the hangman always wears a mask. been doing it that way for 700 years.

back in 1793 and 1794, parisians would go to mass, then go get wine and cheese and sit around the village square as the guillotin provided them with hours of ongoing entertainment. the children would run through the fields and play tag, grandma would knit, and father would discuss business (yes, even on the sabbath) with other merchants, all as the new "citizen's government" leveled off the shoulders of louis xiv's family and friends. that kind of stuff has been a big seller for years.

They'd never execute the Sun King....

Louis XVI is a different story though...

I always liked the fact that dogs etc would hang around underneath the platform, then lick up some of the blood afterwards, must have been a wild scene...

Well, said son was not exactly a stand-up guy, either. Saddam put a death sentence on him because the son beat his personal food-taster to death in front of a house full of party guests. Then let him off the hook, because, after all, it was just a food taster.

The New York Times' obit on Saddam (Saturday's) was pretty darn good-- reminding one of all the atrocities for which he's responsible, along with how his big tactical error in attacking Iran (which led us to financially support him for a while) led to the invasion of Kuwait. I learned a lot.

saddam wasn't a real war criminal? or are you suggesting that his crimes pale in comparison to others more deserving of that title?

Danzig,
Of course Saddam was a war criminal. I agree that he was.
Also, from reports that I've read from various news sources today, the world opinion is split. One more corpse added to the heap will not solve this situation.
Go back on this thread and read my post #10. Get back later.

Who said I was defending the guy? He was a scumbag. You still didn't answer the question as to WHY you enjoy watching that kind of stuff.

Because I like seeing people get what they deserve, and as I argued with Kev last night, I see things for myself so I can have my own opinion on them. NO HEARSAY HERE
