If they burn, then Delightful Kiss and Slew by Slew may surprise. Looks like a good race for single race exotics.

Default What about Reppo????

Only one horse in here has been the distance. For you Reppo could earn a chunk of this at a decent price.
Throw out last on the Poly Track crap and this one is a competitor.
Ran 2nd to chelokee after a slow start out of the gate. Beat Sightseeing in that same race.

OK, you all can call me crazy, but I like Officer Rocket. I think he is improving. Ran a very nice race in the Rebel.

Why would that be crazy? I think if the pace is hot enough, he's got a real legit shot.

Was just looking over the races, and noticed that Davidson (Olympic Chief) sports a positive ROI despite sending out only two winners over her last 70 runners. It's at $2.61 if I recall.

Insane. How many 2.85% trainers sport positive ROIs? Is this common and I just haven't seen it?

Obviously those two were huge bombs, but still....

After looking at this more, I like For You Reppo a lot more...

He looks like the logical horse here. I didn't care for Curlin's last work, so I'd take my chances with For You Reppo.

I think i'm losing my mind.

Officer Rocket is the play of the day. I just have a feeling this horse is going to have a breakout performance.

I like Curlin here with Deadly Dealer the only horse that has a chance to beat him. For You Reppo should definitely be played in the second and third spots and I guess I could see an outside chance where it is too long for both Curlin and Deadly Dealer and he gets up for the win. I think Officer Rocket is a sucker horse here, he doesn't strike me as a closer that wants more distance. If anything I think nine will be too long for him. Delightful Kiss is another that should be played in third. If Harrow Land runs well in the Northern Spur then I will play Slew by Slew in third as well.

I think Deadly Dealer has no shot. The only way he wins is with Pletcher Magicâ„¢

I dont know what happened in the backstretch of Officer Rocket's last race. He just took off way early and then he got backed up. Then after the turn he came on again late. Of course he was passing dead horses and Curlin was just pulling away from everybody but the fact that Officer Rocket used himself twice is very interesting.

He is going to have to get the correct set up but he looks like he is vastly improved. I just wonder what was going on in his last race with the premature move. Tough bugger though. I think he likes getting dirty. If the track is sloppy it could get interesting. Should not be a problem for the Rocket to get the rail again and make a late run.

Curlin has had no test yet. He looks very, very impressive but lets see what happens in the two spot. He will most likely get dirty here. Lets see how he reacts. He waited patiently outside the leaders and got them in a burn up last time. I dont think its gonna be the same this time even though the speed is there again for him.

I agree, nothing wrong with that huge middle move last time, today he finishes the job!
