Liquidity , I know everyone is Trashing the SA Derby, but I don't think the race was as bad as others say. If Liquidity can rate off the pace here, I think he has a shot. Heck 30-1 ML, might as well be getting value in this field.

I've been on Scat Daddy, Quay, and recently AGS, but the buzz on Street Sense has sold me another bill of goods. Last year I loved Barbaro until I bought the SNS hype, so this could very likely be another mistake.

I'm going to go with Cowtown Cat. He's getting good at the right time and he's the only horse in the race that I don't have any knocks on.

if hard spun runs like he did in the lane's end, i have no worries. didn't fight for the lead, didn't get rank, pino got him relaxed early and tracking the two leaders. took off around the turn, another win.

i agree with several about the ex here-hard spun, street sense.

My exacta puts him with Dominican.

If it's one horse I'll go with the price play as always. Cowtown Cat surprises here in the mud.

Hmmm...am wondering if anybody has any comments on Hard Spun's post position in relation to the rest of the speed in the race....

Sam P.

I think there are about 7 horses more likely to win the race, but Sam P.'s odds may be the biggest overlay anyway.

Oh yes, mwuhahahaha, I love it!! I agree with BTW when he said Sam P had a pretty nice race in the SA Derby. Game to the end, thru traffic, I like his chances to hit the board in this race.

Curlin and he finishes strongly,

Check his 94 Moss late pace fig. (Moss' highest)

He uses his #2 post position for advantage, gets a rail trip and lets the speed peppered all around him set a crazy pace. He's shown that he can get position, maintain it and relax...speedsters won't hurry him.His quick turn of foot gets him out of trouble if boxed in. He's got guts and muscle to barrel through a seam when it's time.

Mine is HARD SPUN. Great value, good post, should sit a good trip with his speed, bred to run all day. The OP race really wasn't bad from a figure point of view. Hey Stewart Elliot did it, why can't Pino?
Street Sense.
